When an interview is booked we ask family or friends to complete a short questionnaire about the person being interviewed - basic information about their life that can serve as a conversation starter.
Most interviews last between 60-75 mins. We structure the conversation to ensure we cover the important chapters of life within that timeframe.
Interviews can be done virtually - we've done lots of them. Virtual interviews are very convenient because they eliminate the need to travel. BUT the best audio quality - the final product - is always better when we record in person.
We record in a studio in Brisbane. In person interviews are best, but we can arrange a virtual interview if you can't get to Brisbane. Also, we plan to take Your Story Pod on the road and record in all Australian capitals. Send us a message, tell us where you are and when you'd like to record and we'll see what we can organise.
Once the interview has been recorded, we'll have the audio package ready within 7 days.
Once the interview has been recorded, edited and packaged, we'll send a link to a downloadable audio file to the person who was interviewed and the person who booked the interview. We recommend saving the audio file in a safe place and playing it on your favourite media player.
